VisitsTracker vs Timeero

Timeero is a mature GPS time-tracking product with real mileage features and US payroll integrations. It is the closest thing to a direct comparison on capability, and the difference is what each one does with a reading it does not trust.

The short version

If you are a US business that wants proven GPS timesheets wired into US payroll, Timeero is a safe choice. If your problem is a record being challenged, ours is built to be handed to the other side.

"Not published" means we could not find a public claim either way, not that the feature is absent. Ask them, and treat our unsourced rows the same way.

Where Timeero is the better choice

Mature and proven in the US

Years of customers, established US payroll integrations, and a large body of reviews. We are new and our regions are the UK, Australia and New Zealand, South Africa and India, with no North American data cell.

Segmented tracking and route detail

Their route and segment features are well developed and well documented, and they publish thoughtfully about edge cases like a worker turning location off.

Face recognition

Identity verification at the punch, which we only offer as an optional selfie.

Simpler pricing at one seat

A flat per-user price from $5 with no workspace fee. Below about five seats their arithmetic is friendlier than our $19 plus $4.

Where we are

Cheaper per seat at any real size

Timeero publishes $5 to $9 per user per month. We are $19 for the workspace plus $4 per tracked seat, and admins and auditors are free. At twenty field staff we are meaningfully less.

Readings are graded, not just collected

Every reading carries a trust verdict. Flagged ones are excluded from visits, hours and mileage and stay visible in the record. Nothing is quietly dropped, so there is no invisible exclusion for anyone to attack.

A visit is a record, not an interpretation

Dwell inside a boundary becomes an arrival, a departure, a duration and a match verdict, including an explicit ambiguous verdict when two neighbouring sites both fit.

Tamper evidence you can hand over

A per-day hash seal the reader can recompute, plus append-only edits. The point is that the other side does not have to trust you.

The worker sees the same record

Exact counts of what is held, and a self-service export with nobody's approval. That symmetry is what stops the record reading as partisan.

Questions

Is Timeero cheaper?

Below roughly five seats, yes, because we add a $19 workspace fee. Above that we are cheaper per head, and our admin and auditor seats are free.

Do you integrate with US payroll?

We export Xero, Sage, QuickBooks and plain CSV. If your requirement is deep native US payroll wiring, Timeero is stronger there today.

Do you have a US data region?

Not yet. Workspaces run in the UK, Australia and New Zealand, South Africa or India. US commercial buyers can be served from an existing region, but we will not claim US residency we do not have.
