Fake locations flagged, not dropped
Some apps make a phone report a false position. Those readings are spotted and kept, marked as fake, and never counted toward a visit or a claim.

Readings queue on the phone and upload later with their real times. Basements, lift shafts and rural gaps do not create holes you have to explain.

About battery, honestly
This is a high-accuracy tracker, so it uses more battery than a light app. Two things keep it reasonable: it goes quiet when someone stops moving, and it does not run outside your shift hours. Most complaints turn out to be the phone’s own power saver killing the app, which the in-app check will tell you.

Does it drain the battery?
It uses more than a light app because it is a high-accuracy tracker. It quietens down when someone stops moving and stops entirely outside shift hours. If a phone is using more than expected, the in-app check usually finds a manufacturer power-saving setting is interfering.
Does it track people after work?
No. Outside the hours you set, readings are refused and not stored. The worker’s own screen shows them which hours apply.
What if someone fakes their location?
The reading is kept and marked as fake. It never counts toward a visit, an hours total or a mileage claim, but it stays visible — including in anything you send out.
Will my staff accept it?
They take it better when they can see it. Bounded hours, a worker-facing record they can export themselves, and the fact that the same record backs them up in an argument about unpaid hours.
What if there is no signal?
Everything keeps working. Readings and entries wait on the phone and upload in order when signal returns, carrying the times they actually happened.
