How do hours get into payroll?
Clock-ins become a weekly timesheet. You approve the week, which locks it, then export for Xero, Sage, QuickBooks or plain CSV. Your rounding and overtime rules are applied at export.
What if someone forgets to clock out?
The session is closed for them and flagged as an estimate. It shows as an estimate on the timesheet and in the export, so you can correct it before you approve.
Can I stop a timesheet changing after I approve it?
Yes. Approving a week locks it. A late clock-in aimed at an approved week is refused outright rather than absorbed, so an approved total cannot move underneath you.
Does it handle overtime and rounding?
Yes, applied at export rather than to the stored record. That means you can change the rule and re-export without losing what actually happened.
What if there is no signal on site?
Entries queue on the phone and upload when signal returns, carrying their real time. They upload in order, so a late upload cannot reshuffle the day.
