VisitsTracker vs SPOTIO
SPOTIO is field sales execution software: prospecting, lead management, pipeline, territory design, coaching and analytics. It is a great deal more product than we are, sold in a different way, and to a different buyer.
Competitor claims are taken from their own published documentation, dated below.
The short version
Which of us you should buy.
Straight answer
If you want one platform to run outside sales end to end, and you have a team big enough to justify a demo, a pilot and an implementation, SPOTIO is built for exactly that. If you want the visit record on its own, today, at a price you can read without talking to anybody, that is us.
Where they win
Where SPOTIO is the better choice.
Leading with this because a comparison that finds no merit in the alternative is marketing, and gets read that way.
It is a whole sales platform
Prospecting, lead management, pipeline, territory design, sales intelligence, coaching, gamification and leaderboards. We are one part of that, and we do not have a pipeline at all.
Prospecting and canvassing
Finding and qualifying new doors is a real part of outside sales that we do not touch. SPOTIO is built around it.
Vertical depth
They publish solutions for commercial construction, distribution, medical devices and pharma, home improvement and more, with sales process built in.
Coaching and performance management
Leaderboards, gamification and coaching workflows for managing a sales floor. We report what happened and stop there.
Side by side
The difference, in one table.

01 · How you buy it
One of us needs a meeting first
SPOTIO's pricing page states plainly that they do not offer a free trial, and that demos and pilot programmes are arranged for qualified prospects.
- That is a reasonable model for a platform of that size, and it is a real barrier for a team of six.
- Ours starts on a phone this afternoon, with the price on the page.

02 · Scope
They are a platform. We are one record.
SPOTIO runs prospecting, pipeline, territories and coaching. If you need those, we are not a substitute and you should not treat us as one.
- We hold no pipeline, no deal stages and no lead scoring, on purpose.
- What we hold is where the day went, in a form somebody outside the company will accept.
- Most of our customers keep whatever CRM they already have.
A shorter list is the point. It is why this costs what it costs.
03 · Activity against evidence
Counting calls is not the same as proving them
Activity tracking tells a manager how many calls a rep logged. It rarely says whether the number would hold up if somebody pulled on it.
- Every reading carries a trust verdict, and untrusted ones never reach a total.
- Mock-location apps are detected on the handset and the reading is kept, flagged, rather than dropped.
- Each day is hashed and chained, so an edit afterwards is visible rather than deniable.
Straight answers
Questions people ask.
Is SPOTIO better than VisitsTracker?
For running an outside sales organisation end to end, it is a far broader product and we would not argue otherwise. For recording and proving visits at a published price, we are the narrower and cheaper answer.
Why compare with a much bigger product?
Because teams shortlist us together, and the useful thing to say is where the line is rather than pretending there is not one.
Can VisitsTracker replace our CRM?
No, and it is not meant to. It records where the day went and exports that into whatever you already use.
How much does SPOTIO cost?
They do not publish it. Their pricing page offers demos and pilot programmes for qualified prospects instead, so you will need to ask them.
What if we need prospecting?
Then buy SPOTIO, or keep your CRM for it. We do not do prospecting and adding it is not on our roadmap.
