Everything downstream depends on the geography being right, and the product should tell you which pins it does not believe.

01 · Getting them in
A site should arrive complete
CSV, TSV, Excel or KML, with a column mapper that reads your header row.
- Coordinates, fence radius, the contact to ask for, access notes and your own fields, all in one file.
- So a site is finished on import rather than after an afternoon of clicking.
- Anything unclear is flagged for review instead of guessed at.

02 · Shape matters
Boundaries beat radii
A circle is a reasonable default and a poor description of a beach frontage or a road-frontage unit.
- Zones are real polygons: draw them, or import KML where every polygon becomes a zone.
- Entering or leaving one is an event you can act on.
- A zone can also punch people in and out on entry.
A circle around the beach pin would cover the sea and miss the promenade.
03 · Pins you should not trust
A bad pin does not announce itself
It shows up weeks later as a technician who apparently visited nowhere.
- Sites whose pin looks wrong are marked: stops here can be missed or misattributed.
- Sites needing review are filterable as a group.
- Archived sites warn you before anybody is sent there.
04 · Who has not been seen
Coverage is the report to read first
A quarterly-service contract fails quietly, one missed site at a time.
- Every site by how long since anyone was there, over 7, 30 or 90 days.
- Never-visited at the top, plus sites with nobody assigned at all.
- From the filtered list, plan a round into a driving route saved as the day's intended plan.

What it does not do.
Worth knowing before you buy, not after
Zones import from KML polygons. Points and lines in the same file are skipped rather than imported as zero-area zones. Addresses without coordinates are geocoded, so a pin may need moving.

What formats can I import?
Sites from CSV, TSV, Excel or KML. Zones from KML, where every polygon placemark becomes a zone.
Can I import contacts and my own fields too?
Yes. Coordinates, fence radius, contact name, phone, email, access notes and your own site fields can all arrive in one file.
What if two sites are next door?
A stop that could belong to either is marked ambiguous with both kept. Real boundaries reduce how often that happens.
How do I find sites nobody has visited?
Coverage, filtered to never visited. It also shows sites nobody is assigned to.
