Why the record holds up

Most days nobody asks. The record only has to be good on the day a customer refuses to pay, and that is a different standard from looking tidy in a dashboard.

EvidenceDisputes

01 · Bad readings

Kept, marked, and excluded

A phone can be made to report a position it is not at. Deleting those readings makes a tidier dataset and a weaker record.

  • Flagged readings never count toward a visit, an hours total or a mileage claim.
  • They stay visible, including in what you send a customer.
  • A gap is ambiguous: a missing hour looks the same whether the phone was off, out of signal, or lying.

02 · Tamper evidence

Each day is sealed

Every day's fixes are hashed into an append-only chain and re-checked automatically.

  • A day that still matches its seal is marked verified.
  • Change a reading afterwards and that day stops matching.
  • The person you hand it to can check for themselves rather than taking your word.

Verify recomputes the chain on demand rather than trusting a stored flag.

03 · Edits

Edits add, they never overwrite

Fix a wrong note and the old value stays, with your name and the time against it.

  • Remove a photo and the record says a photo was removed, and by whom.
  • A gap where evidence used to be is still information.
  • A record that can be edited invisibly rests on trusting whoever presents it.

04 · The artifact

One file, not a folder of screenshots

The dispute pack is built for the sentence your man was never on site.

  • The map of the day, every reading and what was made of it, the rejected ones included.
  • Every edit with who made it and what it was before. Photos, with deletions shown as deletions.
  • Whether the day still matches its seal, so the reader can verify rather than trust.

Branding is deliberately kept off evidence documents. A styled dispute pack invites the question you are trying to close.

Straight answers

Questions people ask.

What happens to a faked GPS reading?

It is detected, marked, and excluded from visits, hours and mileage, while staying visible in the record and in anything you send out.

How do I prove a record was not edited?

Each day carries a hash seal. If it still matches it is marked verified, and the seal can be re-verified on demand.

Can a manager quietly change a time?

No. Amendments retain the original, shown as originally punched, with who changed it and when.

Is the dispute pack branded?

No. Branding applies to portals, share pages and statements only.
