01 · What a punch carries
A punch brings its own evidence
“At the site” and “1,498 m from the nearest one” are different rows, not the same tick.
- The distance is stated rather than implied, so an off-site punch is visible not hidden.
- An optional selfie at the punch. Offline entries queue and upload with their real times, in order.
- Sessions added by a manager are marked as having no measured position behind them.
02 · Nobody taps
Clocking in without clocking in
A zone can punch people in and out on entry. Those punches never blend into manual ones.
- Stamped AUTO everywhere, so a timesheet shows which hours a person asserted and which the geography did.
- Too much automation? The app can instead suggest a punch on arrival. It asks; it never punches silently.
- Manual, suggested or automatic is a workspace setting, not a fixed opinion.
Auto and manual punches are never merged into one figure.
03 · Planned against actual
A rota exists to be measured against
Tap a cell to plan a shift. Rota-versus-actual then scores the week.
- Late starts, early finishes and missed shifts, each named.
- A shift nobody worked shows as missed rather than quietly absent from the totals.
- Leave is known, so somebody off shows as on leave and not as a no-show.
04 · Closing the week
Approving a week locks it
A punch aimed at an approved week is refused, not quietly absorbed.
- So an approved total cannot move underneath you after the fact.
- Approving a week that has not ended refuses the punches still to come, and says so first.
- The evidence PDF is stamped at approval, which is what makes it a document.
Locking is per worker. A late punch into a locked week is refused outright.
05 · Corrections
An amendment looks like an amendment
The original is retained and shown, with who changed it and when.
- Nothing is overwritten in place, which is the difference between a correction and a cover-up.
- Rounding and overtime apply to exports only. The raw punches are never altered.
- So you can change a rule and re-export without having destroyed what happened.

Worth knowing before you buy, not after
Timesheets export as CSV, with rounding and overtime applied at export rather than to the stored record. There is no direct payroll-provider connector today.

Can hours change after approval?
Not silently. Approving locks the week and later punches aimed at it are refused. Amending an existing punch keeps the original visible.
What if somebody forgets to clock out?
The session is closed for them and marked as an estimate, shown as an estimate on the timesheet and in the export.
Do automatic punches mix with manual ones?
No. Auto punches are stamped AUTO wherever they appear.
What format do timesheets export in?
CSV, with your rounding and overtime rules applied at export.
